The High Line & the Lincoln Center - NYC
This summer explore two of New York City's most spectacular icons - the High Line & Lincoln Center. Join Paul Rush, our professional NYC tour guide and discover how these NYC identities have been reimagined at the hands of architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro. Your day starts at the newly opened northern section of the High Line. As you walk south with Paul you'll learn why this once derelict railroad track is now the 'hottest' garden in the world and how it's setting trends in urban restoration. Expect to see the garden in stunning summer bloom.
After lunch at Chelsea Market, Paul takes you on a walking tour of Lincoln Center where you discover how design elements of the High Line are echoed within the Center's new $1.2 billion redevelopment. These city transformations have gained international attention and were recently profiled on PBS' Treasures of New York - watch the episode and get a sneak preview of what's in store on this fascinating tour!
