QUESTION:  When will employee wages be paid?

ANSWER: 

The owners of Sickles Market and 1663 Partners LLC are currently working their way through the bankruptcy court and other related court proceedings. The payment of employee wages and the timing of such payments are directly tied to those court approvals. On November 22, 2024 the Debtors and 1663 Partners LLC filed a co-sponsored plan of reorganization. The plan proposes to pay all employee back wages in full plus two weeks severance per employee upon confirmation of the plan and emergence from bankruptcy court.  At this time, based on legal notice and voting requirements, the earliest that could take place is late February 2025.
